Won the award for my poster presentation on establishing a novel Ewing sarcoma mouse cell line at the University of Florida College of Medicine Pediatric Research Day.

Selected along with a group of 40 students from the entire college to graduate with honors in the UF College of Public Health and Health Professions. Required to complete an honors seminar course, create a project with a mentor, write a thesis, and present a poster.

Founded a chapter of IYRT at the University of Florida to form a community of students, professors, alumni, and professionals at UF who share letters of support for and experience with mental health struggles. Worked with the national IYRT national team to set up the chapter. Reach out to potential letter writers and facilitate writer support, letter editing, and posting. Create and work on social media to promote awareness. Recruit an editor and photographer. Found the chapter as a student organization at UF.

• Assisted nursing staff with taking vitals, providing mobility, perineal care, catheter care, feeding, dressing, changing linen, and bedside monitoring.

• Responsible for 8-12 patients at a time over the course of 12 hour shifts. Maintained a safe environment by regularly checking patients well being and comfort, properly applying restraints when necessary, and communicating with nursing staff. Worked in the Central Staffing Office, assigned to a new unit every shif
