Throughout my time at UF, I have taken a wide variety of classes. As both an aspiring physician and scientist, I felt it was important to emphasize both hard science and social science classes into my education.

This class gave an overview of biochemical processes occurring in the human body that are essential for human metabolism and growth.

This class provided a deep dive into the US health care system including its history, the policies behind it and the impact it has on patients and healthcare workers.

American History of Medicine
This class provided a history of the development of American medicine, including the different racial and political motivations for the development of medicine.

This class provided an opportunity to discuss the construction of reproductive health in America and political, social, and medical movements to support it.
